Effective February 3, 2014
CTS gathers three types of information about You: 1) data that users provide through optional, voluntary registration on Our Web site, 2) client data obtained via company terms as part of executing a contractual agreement and 3) data that CTS gathers through aggregated tracking, mainly by tallying Web pages that are viewed by users throughout Our Web Site.
HOW DOES CTS COLLECT INFORMATION?
Optional Registration: We collect information by specifically requesting it from You. Generally, this occurs when you register at the Web Site or request information or a service.
AGGREGATED USAGE TRACKING
Aggregated usage tracking is conducted through the use of Internet Protocol (IP) addresses and cookies, as described below. Such information enables us to tailor our content to fit Customers’ needs better and to help understand our audience.
Use of Tracking; Use of Internet Protocol (“IP”) Addresses:
An IP address is a unique number that is automatically assigned to Your computer whenever You are surfing the Internet so that Your computer can be identified by the main computers, known as “Web servers, that “serve up” or display Web pages. This allows us to identify and gather general information and data about you, such as the Web pages you view.
CTS collects IP addresses for the purposes of system administration, to report on aggregated information, and to audit the use of our site. Aggregated information is intended for CTS Internal Use only, and is part of our performance tracking and diagnostic processes. When Customers request pages from CTS, our servers log the Customers’ IP addresses. We do not normally link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable, which means that a Customer’s session will be logged, but the Customer will remain anonymous to us.
By showing how and when Users use the Web Site, cookies help us see which areas of the Web Site are popular and which are not. Many improvements and updates to the Web Site are based on such data as total number of visitors and pages viewed. This information is most easily tracked with cookies.
You may occasionally get cookies from Our business partners. CTS and/or CTS Affiliates do not control these cookies. The use of advertising cookies sent by such third-party Web servers is standard in the Internet industry.
DISCLOSURE FOR CALIFORNIA USERS: CTS AND OTHER PARTIES NOT AFFILIATED WITH US MAY COLLECT PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR ONLINE ACTIVITIES OVER TIME AND ACROSS DIFFERENT WEBSITES WHEN YOU USE OUR WEBSITE OR THE SERVICES OFFERED ON OUR WEBSITE. WE DO NOT HAVE ANY PROTOCOL THAT OFFERS YOU THE CHOICE TO OPT-OUT OF INTERNET TRACKING. YOU MAY RESET YOUR WEB BROWSER TO DISABLE DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS IF YOUR WEB BROWSER SUPPORTS SUCH FUNCTIONALITY. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING OUR INTERNET TRACKING METHODS PLEASE EMAIL US AT email@example.com.
